We’re an non-audition all-voices-welcome community choir in Takoma Park, MD. During the pandemic we found ways to create connected community on Zoom by singing with equal parts play & presence. Each session we learn and sing multipart songs, explore rhythm, harmony and connect with and move our bodies. Some of this singing is muted, and some is unmuted. Under the direction of Beth Lyons and the delightfully creative imaginations of our choir members, we also use hats, backgrounds & lighting, dancing with scarves & glowing lights, kazoos & kazoobas, live looping, vocal improv games and more to bring our songs (and ourselves?) to life.
We’re a small and growing all-welcome online community choir that meets Monday mornings at 11a Eastern, 8a Pacific. Days that start with singing and community are So. Much. Better!
